Running Acrobat 10.1.16. to view building drawings. Often would like to print the view on my screen but the "print current view" button is missing from the printing dialogue box. This seems to only happen occasionally. Sometimes closing the document and re-opening it solves the problem, but not always.
"print current view" option is missing
Re: How to set Auto Portrait/Landscape as default
I am having the same problem, except I want mine to default to portrait. It does not stick! EXTREMEL;Y FRUSTRATING. We use to be able to set it once and forget about it. Now I have to remember to change it from auto to portrait every time I print.

Re: How to set Auto Portrait/Landscape as default
Hi ngtcpa,
Please let me explain the standard behaviour of Acrobat:
- Acrobat reads whatever is the default of your printer during start-up. If you want an other default, change it with your printers settings.
- Acrobat keeps the settings you entered until Acrobat is closed or the settings are changed by yourself.
If your system behaves differently, eg by changing the default printer etc, that may be "features" of your OS, but those are certainly not caused by Acrobat.

Re: Can't print from Acrobat Pro DC and MacOS 10.13.1
I removed Adobe completely, it will open your PDF in Chrome or whatwver you have as default PDF opener and you will be able to print.
Definitely an ADobe problem that seems they are ignoring.
Re: Can't print from Acrobat Pro DC and MacOS 10.13.1
First you cannot remove Adobe, but you can remove Acrobat.
It’s probably not an Adobe problem, but a complex Printer-OS-Acrobat interaction problem. Most of the printer drivers are poorly programmed but Acrobat relies on correct printer drivers.
Nevertheless, users that can not print are in a bad situation and Adobe certainly cares.
Re: Print preview page size
It seems to me that you have a problem inch - millimeters.
Maybe your printer does not support inches.
Why do not you print directly from AutoCAD?
Re: Print preview page size
Please show also the “Print setup” box. Acrobat thinks that your page size is what is shown: 2.4x1.8 inches.

That’s big nonsense! One inch is 25.4 mm and there is absolutely no harm using inches and mm side by side.
Double-sided printing
Printing my saved tax forms in Acrobat form is producing blank pages, or pages without my saved data printing. Using Turbotax Premier and Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.
Printing my Turbotax Premier tax forms produces blank pages, or pages without my data printing. How to fix?
Re: Double-sided printing
The problem is a buggy HP printer driver.
You need to go to Printer... and change the R/V option there. There is no other possibility, as HP does not tell the OS about its capabilities.

Try Print as image in the advanced printing dialogue. Does tgat work?

Yes, that works! The copy reproduction is not as good, but it is at least
serviceable.
Thank you very much.
I want the Bates numbering I added to be visible in the digital version and invisible when the document is printed
My PDFs need to include Bates numbering so I can locate them quickly when working with them in the office but I also want to be able to print a document without the Bates number so I can use it in court. How do I make that happen?
Can't see installed profiles when printing from acrobat X
Hi,
I have downloaded 14 CMYK profiles from Adobe.com and installed them on my computer.
When I try and print a full colour pdf (CMYK) to an Inkjet printer I can't see the option to select the newly installed profiles.
When I print from Photoshop I can see the profiles and the print quality is much better.
I am using Acrobat X version 10.1.16 and Photoshop version 12.1 x32 on windows.
My work colleague is using Acrobat 10.1.1 on a Mac and he can see the profiles.
Thanks,
Darren.
