Overlaping Text/Charecters

I have a pdf with 800+ pages and i want to know if there are any overlapping text in it. Is it possible through acrobat professional?

What do you mean by "overlapping text"? If necessary, provide a screen capture of what you're talking about and select it by using the camera icon in the posting editor.

Toggle "Choose paper source by PDF page size" This setting will stick until changed.

From the Print dialog - the Properties tab sets/enables the Printers features, ignore that for now..  From the main Print dialog - Advanced - Output - Color  is that set to Composite or Composite Gray?

Good idea, Daniel, except that he didn't say different page sizes. He said, "mixed media (letterheads and plain)," presumably the same page size.

HI Steve, that is what i have been doing - but when the pdf goes to 3000 pages and every 4th or maybe 6th page is a letterhead...Thanks for the feedback

aha. I was reading quicky and thought perhaps LH, env, tabloid...This sounds like a pretty involved document situation which might have been better prepared...3000 pages and you must choose the paper...

HI Daniel, Yes i know it can be done better - software I use can specifiy which paper (tray) to use for a specific page BUT I did not set this up and the client is providing me only with the pdf's!!...

There isn't any standard way to mark up a PDF for paper trays, and Acrobat doesn't do that. It's possible that third party tools have done this, but they are likely to be written for specific printers....

What you see on screen is the print preview. If you're in prepress you can also use Output Preview to view under different print conditions (ICC profiles).
