I am experiencing the same issue with Mac OS 10.10 (final release version). With Acrobat Pro XI (11.0.09), printing to an Epson AcuLaser CX11NF printer fails, with the printer's dialog box reporting, "Stopped - The pstopdfilter had an I/o error while writing output". I am able to print a PDF without difficulty using Apple's built-in Preview app and am not experiencing any other printer issues.
