Agreed Jon. One of the reasons for having Adobe Acrobat Pro is having their print driver function as a printer and not as a "save as PDF." Save as PDF does not function the same as printing to the print driver. The print driver flattens artwork, compresses the file size and improves the documents fonts for digital publishing.
I hope Adobe has a better solution to this problem than just telling users to "save as PDF." That does nothing. I also agree about the online video. It is very misleading and should either be updated or pulled.
Adobe Acrobat has dropped the ball big time on this and should find a fix for this.
