Two slides per page is only (easily) available via the Print dialog.
The error log typically gives a good clue to the problem. I can't quickly see the problem except perhaps a font issue.
You might want to divide and conquer to find a corrupt graphic or font issue.
Can you print half the document? A page range? Can you print a single page?
You might change your PDF settings and toggle the Rely on System Fonts option.
