You are right, you don't have to explain why you are "refrying" a PDF, but if you do, we may have a different solution that allows you to accomplish the same goal, but without degrading the quality of your PDF file. In general, printing a PDF file to the "Adobe PDF" printer (what we refer to as "refrying the PDF") is almost always a bad idea, and you can usually use an Acrobat function to get the desired output (e.g. flattening interactive objects).

 

You are also right that this should just work, and you should not have to go through the process of logging in again and again. Your Adobe ID should get saved, and you should not have to log in on a regular basis. Acrobat will check every now and then to see if your license is still active, but that should happen in the background.

 

Unfortunately, with licensing problems, you very likely have to get in touch with Adobe's support (http://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html - don't use any of the "Forum" options, otherwise you will end up here again).
