There is not much we can do to assist you here if you don't provide more information as well as a pointer to a sample file.
For example, what platform are you on (Windows, MacOS)? What version of Excel? How did you actually create the PDF file (via Microsoft's own Save as PDF, MacOS PDF, Acrobat's PDFMaker Save as Adobe PDF? Are the fonts embedded?
