I have two 32-page PDF files that are the same format: pages 1-32 include cover, inside pages and back over. The size is 8.5 x 5.5. Using Acrobat 9 PRO with a duplex printer, I have printed each one using the booklet printing on 8.5x11 paper, with paper scaling selection with auto-rotate and center checked.
One booklet prints all pages, in booklet order, perfectly. However, the other file prints all pages, in booklet order, except that the last page (back over) prints blank. In the print dialogue window, the Preview: Composite shows the back and front page on the page, together, as they should be. But, when it prints, the back cover (left half of the first sheet) is a blank page.
I have tested the same document after deleting the internal 28 pages (so a four page booklet) and the same thing happens. I have also tested the same file with only the front and back cover with duplex printing and it prints both the front and back cover in duplex mode correctly.
I have compared the settings in the two files and cannot find any differences. I have even tested putting content on all blank pages in the document and there is no difference.
Please help. Thanks.
