Just got CC and had Acrobat 11 installed on my Mac. If I recall, version 10 on the Mac had a MAJOR bug (not on the PC, was fine) where it simply would not show proper colour and we had to go back to using version 8. It looks like the same bug exists in version 11 (or was never fixed). Basically, colours look dull and washed out. I save a PDF out of photoshop and check on "convert to destination" and pick my destination. It doesn't matter of I save it with my desired CMYK profile, or even in sRGB, when I open it in Acrobat 11 it has the exact same dull colour.
Now I see an announcement that there are updates for Acrobat 11, but the instruction to go to help-check for updates does not even exist in my Acrobat. I also saw that if I wanted to change the frequency of "check for updates" I go to preferences-categories and "updating frequency" (or something like that), but it does not exist either.
The colour issue is an absolute disaster, as who knows how many countless thousands (millions) of people rely on Acrobat PDF files for assessing colour and making corrections. Have people on Macs been using and evaluating bad colour in Acrobat since version 10?
