We found that our GRACoL2006_Coated1v2.icc dated Feb 2, 2010 was somehow corrupt. We replaced it in several ".icc" locations on the Mac with the one dated Jan 28, 2007 (older version). We are in the colorspace Gracol 2006 C v2. Now Acrobats X1 shows the correct intent and separation. Maybe that will help even if you are in a different colorspace. Maybe one of your profiles is corrupt causing lots of issues in other places. Just a thought.
